work experience day 3

hey hey people to the people in the world outside of mine currently,
today was ratherrr interesting, yet you know,
sat around doing nothing much most of the day yet again.
hahaha....

got up normal late time.
although i did get my usual work exp. train.
talked to ben. surprising.
he moved. so that's why he was at revesby. panania?
o-o oh wells. funny guy.

the human resources woman who organised everything led me and another girl,
around to our respective departments,
also telling me where the thursday and friday ones were.
for the other girl, it was her last day of work experience,
what a shame. how disappointing.
she was an awfully nice little non-asian girl.
she even smiles more than me. how cheerful. ^^

by and by....
i eventually got the nuclear medicine department at like 9.00am.
hohoohoi~
there i was introduced to the supervisor for me for the day,
a rather rotund gentleman.
and upon arrival, he gave me a worksheet. DDDD=
i was like awww.... i have to do work>?
but then it actually didn't take long to fill it out.
yup yup.

i was led around the patient bay,
and they has an instrument called 'oxygen'?
HAHAHAHA...
then the supervisor guy just handed me to another of the nuclear medicine technologists
awesome. she was very friendly and cool. yeah yeah!~
for today, she was working in the scanning room.
and i learnt alot of interesting things from her.

there was a place called the Hot Lab.
and that's where they stir up the substances to inject into the patients,
a canula. oho. painful.
they injected these radiopharmaceuticals
wow. long word for the day. hahahaha... LOL.
doom doom.
this is department where there is a lot of radiation,
so they have to be ultra careful. ^^

main sources of radiation is from x-rays,
as well as gamma radiation. oh oh~
scary. well no. hope i don't die from radiation in the future.
HAHAHAHA....
in most of the rooms are 'Gamma Cameras,'
these special machines that detect radiation coming from the body,
and portray it's condition on to a screen.
it's actually really cool.
i asked a lot of questions too. ^^
i was almost gonna ask something probably inappropriate, so i stopped myself;
aha. i was gonna ask like what do they do if a REALLY round person came in?
cause you know, how hard it would be for them to get on the machine,
and like fit into the scanning thing. hehehe. XDD

oho. so.
then i was led by a really cool asian guy technologist into the BMD room.
'bone mineral density'
the machine mainly tests for osteoporosis. how sad.
after some questions from me,
he surprisingly told me to go to lunch and return at 1pm. chu.
so i went to eat pho.
ohmygosh~ so delicious. yum yum.
that's when i filled out my work experience journal.
hahahaha...

when i came back,
it was the other peoples turn for lunch,
how funny. ^^
i went into a different room to observe bone scans.
how wonderful.
and the asian showed me how a gamma camera works.
pretty cool. and complicated.
yosha.

then time passed so slowly.
and then he took me to see a CT scan, which lasted an uberly long time.
i was dozing off just sitting there.
oho. then even more surprisingly,
the guy told me to go home at like 3.00pm.
i was like WOOHOO. in my heart of course.
then i went to see human resources to clarify things.
hahaha... but he signed off from 8.30am to 4.30pm.
how funny. how... misleading?
ROFL.

saw sydney boy dudes on train,
actually got home earlier than a normal school day.
woahhh man. hahahaha...
the awesomeness.
so i just full on vegged out in front of the TV for an hour. XDD
then it was manga time.

ohmy gosh~ when yo-chan becomes bigger when he eats that lolly.
he is sooooo handsome and cuuuuuute~
ohmygosh. he's awesome. though he has the brain of a 3 year old.
boohoo. he looked SO SO cool. i so love him.
and natsume is kinda sweet. *-*

and my camera's not charging. damn it.

ps. i found cheap mascara and am going to buy tomorrow.
